1 AL Plus 5mg/120mg Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
1 AL Plus 5mg/120mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Pseudoephedrine, which relieves sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

1 AL Plus 5mg/120mg Capsule is used to treat an itchy, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, or other symptoms caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis). It works by reducing certain substances in the body called histamines that are responsible for the allergic symptoms. It also reduces swelling inside the nose and thus decreases symptoms such as stuffy nose. This helps in easy breathing and makes you feel better. Drink plenty of liquids, including chicken soup. It can make you feel better.
If you miss a dose of 1 AL Plus 5mg/120mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Oral: For osteoarthritis: 500 mg three times daily up to 3 grams twice daily.
Store at 15 - 30 degree C in a tightly closed container. Protect from light.

The most common side effects are headache, dryness in mouth, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, and tiredness
Your doctor has prescribed Levocetirizine to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes. As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy. Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness. Stop taking Levocetirizine at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
1 AL Plus 5mg/120mg Capsule (10'S) may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
