Cefprozil is a short acting 2nd generation cephalosporin which exerts its bactericidal action against both gram positive & gram negative organisms by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Cefprozil inhibits transpeptidase & thus prevents cross linking of bacterial cell wall.
Absorption: It is well absorbed after oral administration. Distribution: Only a very small amount is distributed in protein bound form. Metabolism: It undergoes metabolism in the liver. Excretion: Drug and its metabolites are excreted mainly in urine

Consuming alcohol with Axotum 1000mg/125mg Injection does not cause any harmful side effects.

Lactation: Contraindicated. Since Aceclofenac and Serratiopeptidase contraindicated in lactation, the combination cannot be used in lactation

0.2 mg 3 times daily before meals.
Store at 25 degree C in a tight light resistant container. Keep out of the reach of children
Take the missed dose as soon as noticed and if it is the time for next dose then skip the missed dose. Continue the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Give supportive measures and symptomatic treatment. Drug can be removed by haemodialysis.
Your doctor has prescribed Cefprozil to cure your infection and improve your symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat. Discontinue Cefprozil and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Cefprozil as it may cause increased side effects.
3 Cef 250mg Tablet (10'S) may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Does it need to be refrigerated? The timolol containing eye drops should not be refrigerated Q. Does Timolol lower blood pressure? Timolol is used to lower blood pressure Q. Does it stop growth of hemangiomas? It may be used to stop growth of hemangiomas (only after prescription from the doctor) Q. Does Timolol cause weight gain/hair loss/ miosis/make eyelashes grow/ cause dry eyes/slow heart rate? Timolol does not make eyelashes grow. It is a blood pressure lowering medication. It is not known to cause weight gain/hair loss/miosis. It may cause dry eyes/slow heart rate as a side effect. If any side effects of the drug are observed then one should inform the doctor immediately.
