Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
After oral administration, aceclofenac is rapidly and completely absorbed as unchanged drug. Peak plasma concentrations are reached approximately 1.25 to 3.00 hours following ingestion. Aceclofenac penetrates into the synovial fluid, where the concentrations reach approximately 57% of those in plasma.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR belongs to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used for short-term relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect joints and muscles. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain.
The use of Aceclofenac with concomitant NSAIDs including cyclooxygenase- 2 selective inhibitors should be avoided (see section 4.5). Elderly: The elderly have an increased frequency of adverse reactions to NSAIDs especially gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation which may be fatal (see section 4.2).
Do not chew, crush or break it. Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

The risk of developing kidney problems is also high in patients who are on medicines which cause excess urination (diuretics), or medicines which have significant impact on kidney function. Along with that, Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR can affect kidneys of patients who are above 65 years of age or who remain dehydrated. Therefore, kidney function monitoring is recommended for such patients.

If you forget a dose of Acceclowoc 200mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as you remember.
