Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Acemizrab 200mg/20mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole, which relieves pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Pharmacokinets

Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. After oral administration, aceclofenac is rapidly and completely absorbed as unchanged drug. Peak plasma concentrations are reached approximately 1.25 to 3.00 hours following ingestion.

The pharmacokinetics of rabeprazole are characterized by high and consistent bioavailability, dose proportionality, extensive hepatic metabolism, and primarily urinary excretion of these metabolites. In addition, rabeprazole does not accumulate with repeated dosing.
