Nimesulide 1 % Gel works by decreasing the intensity of pain signals to your brain and preventing the release of substances called prostaglandins (compounds in your body made of fats that have a chemical messenger like effects) in your brain that cause pain and fever.

Pharmacokinets

Nimesulide is mainly cleared from the body by metabolic transformation and the principal active metabolite is the 4′-hydroxyl derivative (M1). After oral administration, nimesulide shows linear pharmacokinetics in the dose range from 25 to 100 mg. The usual therapeutic regimen is 100 mg p.o. twice daily.

Nimesulide 1 % Gel is a painkiller that contains Nimesulide.
