Acnechio-M Tablet is a combination of medicines used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It regulates ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS. It enhances the body's response to insulin, and maintains hormonal balance. This improves your overall health.
Acnechio-M Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is to be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
It may cause side effects like taste changes, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor in case these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.
Before taking Acnechio-M Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver or heart problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Your doctor will check your kidney function tests before starting treatment with it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking it as this may increase the risk of developing some side effects.
Acnechio-M Tablet is a combination of six medicines: Myo-Inositol, D-Chiro Inositol, Metformin, Melatonin, L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin.

Hypersensitivity to Acnechio-M Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Acnechio-M Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Acute myocardial infarction
Cardiovascular collapse
Diabetic ketoacidosis
Hypersensitivity
Renal disease
Septicemia

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Acnechio-M Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Acnechio-M Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Anti-diabetic drugs

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications before taking Acnechio-M Tablet.
You might experience nausea, ask your doctor to prescribe you an antiemetic (anti-sickness medicine) if it troubles you.
Follow a healthy diet, lose weight if you are overweight, exercise regularly, and avoid smoking and alcohol in order to manage the symptoms of PCOS.
