Indications

Actide 0.1mg Injection is used in the treatment of acromegaly, carcinoid tumors, and bleeding esophageal varices. It is also used to prevent complications following surgery of the pancreas

Acromegaly is a condition that is caused by overproduction of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. Actide 0.1mg Injection helps to reduce the increased levels of growth hormone, restores them to normal and therefore prevents complication of acromegaly such as diabetes or heart diseases. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered.

Storage Requirements

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8°C). Do not freeze.

Effects Of Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Actide 0.1mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
