As a penicillin antibiotic, Actis 125 mg/31.25 mg Syrup treats bacterial infections. It interferes with the synthesis of the cell walls in bacteria and stops it from growing. This is used to treat infections of the lungs and airways, skin, middle ear, sinuses, and the urinary tract.
Approximately 50% to 70% of the amoxicillin and approximately 25% to 40% of the clavulanic acid are excreted unchanged in urine during the first 6 hours after administration of a single

Amoxicillin is a Beta-Lactam antibiotic. Clavulanic acid is a Beta-Lactamase inhibitor. Indications: Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium either alone or in combination with other antibiotics.
Shake it well before use. Pour it in a measuring cup and take it from the mouth. Check the label for directions of use and seek your doctor's advice for the proper dose and duration of the medicine.
Don't miss your dose and always try to take the medicine at the fixed possible time. In case you miss a dose and it's time for your next dose then instead of overdosing, take your next dose. Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. Don't change the dose or stop the medication without consulting your doctor.
Store at room temperature at a range of 15 to 30 degree C. in a well closed container.Keep out of reach of children.
The missed dose should be taken as soon possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it's already time for your next scheduled dose.
One should contact the doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of an overdosage include convulsions, change in behaviour or a severe skin rash.
This medication should be given after making adjustments in the dosage. The kidney function should be periodically monitored especially if the dosage is for a longer period of time. Suitable dose adjustments are to be made if a patient is on hemodialysis.
