The common side effects of this medicine include burning, irritation, itching and redness at the application site.
Advan-THF Cream helps to lighten these dark patches by reducing the production of melanin (natural skin pigment). It lightens skin color and gives a smoother-looking skin. Advan-THF Cream also reduces any swelling, redness and itchiness especially if you have a sensitive skin.
Hydroquinone is absorbed through the skin and metabolized primarily to sulfate and glucuronide conjugates, which are excreted in the urine. Additional metabolites include benzoquinone, multiple glutathione conjugates, and N-acetyl cysteine conjugates.
The principal mechanisms proposed to explain the increased disappearance of tretinoin from plasma include: (i) decreased intestinal absorption; (ii) enhanced enzymatic catabolism; and (iii) the induction of cytoplasmic retinoic acid binding proteins (CRABP), which leads to increased drug sequestration.
The reported half-life of fluocinolone acetonide ranges between 1.3-1.7 hours. This pharmacokinetic parameter is not relevant as the systemic absorption of fluocinolone acetonide is very minimal and the concentration in urine is lower than the minimum quantitation limit.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
