Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Aedicool Oral Suspension Saunf reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer.

Pharmacokinets

Pharmacology. Magaldrate is a hydroxymagnesium aluminate complex that is converted rapidly by gastric acid into Mg(OH)2 and Al(OH)3, which are absorbed poorly and thus provide a sustained antacid effect.

Simethicone and cellulose are both excreted unchanged in the feces. Simethicone is not known to interfere with gastric secretion or nutrient absorption; however, this medicine is usually taken after at least 4 hours of fasting. SonoRx may color the stool orange until elimination is complete, typically 24 to 48 hours.
