Agivog M 0.3 Tablet SR is a medicine that helps to control high blood glucose (sugar) levels. It helps to slow down the breaking down of food in our intestine to simple glucose (sugar), thereby decreasing the rise in blood glucose levels after meals. It also helps get rid of extra glucose from your body through urine.
Pharmacokinetics. Metformin has an oral bioavailability of 50–60% under fasting conditions, and is absorbed slowly. Peak plasma concentrations (Cmax) are reached within 1–3 hours of taking immediate-release metformin and 4–8 hours with extended-release formulations.
voglibose is poorly absorbed after oral administration. However, systematic adverse effects have been observed. Metabolism: the metabolism of voglibose in liver is negligible. Excretion: The renal excretion is negligible and plasma concentations after oral dose have been undetectable.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
