Cetirizine in Aglocet Tablet works by blocking the Histamine and hence decreases the symptoms associated with allergies.
The Tmax of cetirizine is approximately 1.0 hour regardless of formulation. The pharmacokinetics of cetirizine have been found to increase linearly with dose across a range of 5 to 60 mg. Its Cmax following a single dose has been found to be 257 ng/mL for 10 mg and 580 ng/mL for 20 mg.

If you are allergic to cetirizine, Hydroxyzine or any Piperazine derivatives or other ingredients of Aglocet Syrup.

Hence it is better to avoid it in pregnancy unless specified by the physician.

If you missed the dose of Aglocet Syrup, take it as soon as you remember.
If it's time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with a regular dosing schedule.
Avoid double dose to compensate for the missed one.
Overdose causes tiredness, headache, confusion, dizziness, discomfort, skin irritation, restlessness, drowsiness, rapid heartbeat, tremor, urinary retention.

Yes, Aglocet Syrup is known to cause sleepiness or drowsiness, hence never drive or activity like operating machinery after taking the medicine.
