Domperidone is an anti-sickness medicine. It is used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting. It increases the movement of food into the stomach, thereby helps in indigestion. It is also used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease and gastroparesis (sluggish movements of the stomach). It belongs to the anti-emetic (emesis - vomiting) group of medicines. Domperidone is available in the form of a tablet, capsule, syrup, suspension, oral drops, rectal suppository.
