This tablet is a combination of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is prescribed for people with painful rheumatic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.


This medication works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes. It makes chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or damage, causing pain, swelling, and inflammation. This eases pain and reduces inflammation. It should not be given during pregnancy or to mothers that are breastfeeding.

Mechanism Of Action

Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the effect of chemical messengers like prostaglandins (responsible for producing pain and inflammation). Paracetamol has both analgesic and antipyretic (fever reducer) properties which decreases mild pain and possibly fever.

ACECLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL helps in relieving pain from conditions like headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and painful menses (periods).


Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: ACECLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL interact with cholesterol lowering drugs (cholestyramine), charcoal, medicine to stop vomiting (domperidone, metochlopramide), alcohol, anti HIV drug (zidovudine), blood thinner (warfarin), blood pressure lowering medicine, anti cancer or anti arthritis drug (methotrexate)

Effects Of Missed Dosage

The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember. However, the missed dose should be skipped if it is almost time for your next dose.

A doctor should be contacted immediately if an overdose of this medication is suspected.
