This medicine must be used regularly to be effective, so go on taking it even if you do not have any symptoms. If you stop taking it your symptoms of COPD may get worse. Thus, it should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. It is best to take the first dose of this medicine under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways.
Airz Capsule is an anticholinergic medication. It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) in the brain. This helps the muscles around the lungs stay relaxed and reduces COPD symptoms such as coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
Oral glycopyrronium has highly variable pharmacokinetics, reaching a mean Cmax of 0.318 ng/mL, a Tmax of 3.1 hours, and an AUC0-24 of 1.74 h*ng/mL. The mean volume of distribution in patients aged 1-14 years old is 1.3-1.8 L/kg, with a range of 0.7-3.9 L/kg.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Airz Capsule. Please consult your doctor.
Airz Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Long-term use of Airz Capsule might reduce milk production.
Glycopyrrolate is a long term medication used to treat ongoing lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It must be used regularly to reduce and prevent symptoms such as shortness of breath and wheezing.
Drug-Drug Interaction: Airz Capsule 30's may interact with other anticholinergics (atropine), cholinesterase inhibitors (neostigmine, pyridostigmine), anticonvulsants (topiramate), antihistamines (diphenhydramine).

Airz Capsule is used for long-term management of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
This medicine is for inhalation using a nebuliser only. The solution should not be injected or swallowed.
It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems.
Take the first dose of this medicine under medical supervision as it may cause wheezing or tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) immediately after using.
Avoid getting this medication into your eyes. It may cause eye pain/irritation, temporary blurred vision, and other vision changes.
Inform your doctor if you have difficulty passing urine or have painful urination.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

No, Airz Capsule is not a steroid. It belongs to a group of medicines called bronchodilators which are used to widen the airway of the respiratory tract. They also help to ease the breathing process in patients with breathing difficulties due to a certain type of lung disease like obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

The length of time depends on the severity and type of disease. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a long-term disease and you need to take this medicine every day as directed by the doctor to prevent attacks of breathing difficulty. It is to be taken regularly and not only when you have breathing problems or other symptoms of COPD.
Q. How to use Airz Capsule?
The usual dose of Airz Capsule for inhalation is one capsule once daily using the inhaler. The pack contains capsules in blisters packs that contain the medicine Airz Capsule in the form of inhalation powder. Take out the capsule from the blister pack and place the capsule into the capsule chamber of the inhaler. Close the inhaler to get a ‘click’ sound when it fully closes. Hold the inhaler upright and press both piercing buttons together to pierce the capsule. Breath out fully and then place the inhale into the mouth and breath in the medicine as deeply as you can. Continue to hold your breath for at least 5 to 10 seconds while you remove the inhaler from your mouth.
Q. Can Airz Capsule inhalation cause difficulty in urination?
Inhalational Airz Capsule can lead to retention of urine and difficulty of urination in old age individuals. It is more common in men with enlarged prostate or benign enlargement of prostate. This condition can cause difficulty in urination or painful urination or frequent urination or dribbling of urine. Inform the doctor if you already have any such problems before starting the treatment or if you experienced any problems during the treatment.
Q. Can Airz Capsule inhalation cause difficulty in vision?
Inhaling Airz Capsule can lead to blurred vision and can even cause acute narrow-angle glaucoma. This medicine can cause pain in the eye or discomfort, nausea or vomiting, blurred vision, seeing halos or bright colors around lights, and red eyes. Immediately stop taking this medicine and contact the doctor if you encounter any of these symptoms.
