This is probably an allergic reaction to dead mites and not a sign that the treatment has failed. Before using it, let your doctor know if you have any skin conditions or allergies to medicines, food, or other substances, or if you have asthma. Though this medicine is generally thought to be safe, you should ask for your doctor’s advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
AL Pthrin 5% Cream is an antiparasitic medication. It works by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs, which cause scabies. It also kills head lice which attach to your scalp and irritate it.
Rapidly metabolized by ester hydrolysis to inactive metabolites which are excreted primarily in the urine. Permethrin is rapidly metabolized by ester hydrolysis to inactive metabolites which are excreted primarily in the urine. Oral, rat LD50: 430 - 4000 mg/kg; skin, rabbit LD50: 2000 mg/kg.
