Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is best taken before a meal or at bedtime. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take it for as long as it is prescribed for you. In case, you have missed any doses, take the next dose as soon as you remember it. However, you should never take a double dose. Dizziness and drowsiness are the most common side effect of this medicine. Avoid driving or attention-seeking activities while on treatment with this medicine. In some cases, it may cause also dryness of mouth. To prevent dry mouth, drink more water and maintain good oral hygiene.
Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule works by slowing activity in the brain to allow sleep. This helps you relax and feel more energetic. It also helps you concentrate better and improves your quality of life.
Pharmacokinetics. Oral bioavailability of diphenhydramine is in the range of 40% to 60%, and peak plasma concentration occurs about 2 to 3 hours after administration. The primary route of metabolism is two successive demethylations of the tertiary amine.

Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule is an antihistaminic medicine. It is used to treat symptoms of nasal allergy such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes.

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Aldryl Soft Gelatin Capsule, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
