Aldulan 10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. Mechanism Of Action

A beta-adrenergic agonist that causes direct relaxation of uterine and vascular smooth muscle. Its vasodilating actions are greater on the arteries supplying skeletal muscle than on those supplying skin. It is used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and in premature labor.

Pharmacokinets

Pharmacokinetics: Isoxsuprine HCl is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The peak plasma concentration (Cmax) occur 1 hr after oral administration. Plasma t½ is 1.5 hrs. Isoxsuprine is excreted in urine mainly as conjugates.

Indications

Isoxsuprine is used in premature labor and peripheral vascular disease. Isoxsuprine is a beta-adrenergic agonist. It works by preventing the contractions of the smooth muscles in the uterus. Thus, it relaxes the uterus to prevent premature labor.

Interactions

Amitriptylinoxide The risk or severity of hypertension can be increased when Amitriptylinoxide is combined with Isoxsuprine.

Amlodipine Isoxsuprine may decrease the antihypertensive activities of Amlodipine.
