Aldulan 10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Before taking the medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart problems or bleeding disorders. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. You must avoid taking part in any strenuous or stressful activities to prevent premature labor.
A beta-adrenergic agonist that causes direct relaxation of uterine and vascular smooth muscle. Its vasodilating actions are greater on the arteries supplying skeletal muscle than on those supplying skin. It is used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and in premature labor.
Pharmacokinetics: Isoxsuprine HCl is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The peak plasma concentration (Cmax) occur 1 hr after oral administration. Plasma t½ is 1.5 hrs. Isoxsuprine is excreted in urine mainly as conjugates.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It is contraindicated in patients who have cardiovascular disease (especially arrhythmias), hyperthyroidism, chorioamnionitis, bleeding, and eclampsia or severe pre-eclampsia
Aldulan 10mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Aldulan 10mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Aldulan 10mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Isoxsuprine is used in premature labor and peripheral vascular disease. Isoxsuprine is a beta-adrenergic agonist. It works by preventing the contractions of the smooth muscles in the uterus. Thus, it relaxes the uterus to prevent premature labor.
Amitriptylinoxide The risk or severity of hypertension can be increased when Amitriptylinoxide is combined with Isoxsuprine.
Amlodipine Isoxsuprine may decrease the antihypertensive activities of Amlodipine.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Aldulan 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Aldulan 10mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
