It exerts its parasiticidal action by being directly absorbed through the parasite's exoskeleton (primarily lice, or scabies) and their ova. The gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA(1)) receptor/chloride ionophore complex is the primary site of action for lindane, and other insecticides such as endosulfan, and fipronil.

Lindane+Cetrimide is used in the treatment of scabies. Lindane + Cetrimide is a combination of two medicines: Lindane and Cetrimide. It works kills microorganisms that cause scabies. It is also potent in paralyzing and killing the lice and their eggs.
Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

If you miss a dose of Alencab Lotion, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Alencab Lotion is prescribed for the treatment of scabies (a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin).
Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment. This helps kills the scabies mites.
