Alevo 250 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Levofloxacin in the Alevo Tablet prevent bacterial growth by interfering with the vital functions of bacterial cells like protein synthesis that are responsible for growth and development of the bacte.
Levofloxacin is approximately 24 to 38% bound to serum plasma proteins (primarily albumin); serum protein binding is independent of serum drug concentrations. The plasma elimination half-life (t1/2 beta) ranges from 6 to 8 hours in individuals with normal renal function.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Alevo 250 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Consuming alcohol with Alevo 250 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Alevo 250 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Alevo 250 Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections in adults and children (>6months age). It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.
ALEVO 250MG TABLET 5'S may worsen muscle weakness in people with myasthenia gravis (a nervous system disorder that causes muscle weakness) and cause severe difficulty breathing or death. Dairy products should be avoided along with ALEVO 250MG TABLET 5'S.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Alevo 250 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Alevo 250 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, the use of Alevo 250 Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.

No, do not stop taking Alevo 250 Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. If you stop using Alevo 250 Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen. Continue taking Alevo 250 Tablet in the dose and duration advised by the doctor.

Yes, the use of Alevo 250 Tablet is known to increase the risk of muscle damage, commonly in the ankle. Muscle damage can happen in people of all ages who take Alevo 250 Tablet but it may be more significant in people above 60 years of age. Inform your doctor if you feel any kind of muscle pain while using this medicine.
