Alfalog Tablet works by improving protein metabolism in the body. It prevents the increase in urea level in blood due to non-essential amino acids. It decreases the formation of urea by reusing the am. It also maintains the nitrogen level in our body.
Alpha Ketoanalogue is used in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. Alpha Ketoanalogue belongs to a class of drugs called nutritional supplements. It follows same catabolic pathways as amino acids and works by improving the metabolism of protein in the body, thereby improving the renal function.

ALPHA KETOANALOGUE contains “Alpha Ketoanalogue”, and it works by prevents the unnecessary increase in urea levels in the blood due to the intake of non-essential amino acids in patients of kidney failure. Thereby improving renal function.
Drug-Drug Interactions: ALPHA KETOANALOGUE may interact with antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, tetracycline), an antineoplastic agent (estramustine). Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid alcohol consumption while taking ALPHA KETOANALOGUE as it might cause unpleasant side effects. Drug-Disease Interactions: No interactions found.

If you miss a dose of Alfalog Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
