Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Alfariz Plus Injection is a combination of five nutritional supplements: Methylcobalamin, Thiamine(Vitamin B1), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Niacinamide and D-Panthenol which replenish the body's stores of important nutrients.

Pharmacokinets

Methylcobalamin is one of the two coenzyme forms of vitamin B12. Evidence indicates this form of vitamin B12, in addition to having a theoretical advantage over cyanocobalamin, actually has some metabolic and therapeutic applications not shared by the other forms of vitamin B12.Thiamine combines with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the liver, kidneys, and leukocytes to produce thiamine diphosphate. Thiamine diphosphate acts as a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism, in transketolation reactions, and in the utilization of hexose in the hexose-monophosphate shunt.vitamin B6 differ fundamentally, depending from the route of administration. The rate constants of elimination of B6-metabolites indicate a tendency of accumulation. Pyridoxine is rapidly metabolized in erythrocytes. The pharmacokinetics of nicotinamide were studied in four human volunteers after oral doses of 1–6 g. Plasma concentrations and clearance rates of the vitamin were found to be dose-dependent, with a half-life of ∼7–9 h for the two highest doses administered (4 and 6 g), ∼4 h with 2 g and ∼1.5 h with a 1-g dose.Panthenol is well absorbed into the skin and quickly converted into Pantothenic acid by oxidation. Pantothenic acid is distributed into the cells and is converted to Acetyl Coenzyme-A (Acetyl CoA) in the cells of the epidermis.
