Alphacept-D8 Capsule Combipack is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. Silodosin works by relaxing the muscles of your bladder neck, urethra, and prostate. Thus, it relieves the symptoms of BPH.
The pharmacokinetics of silodosin is linear throughout this dose range. The exposure to the main metabolite in plasma, silodosin glucuronide (KMD-3213G), at steady-state is about 3-fold that of the parent substance. Silodosin and its glucuronide reach steady-state after 3 days and 5 days of treatment, respectively.
Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: Following administration of a single 0.5-mg dose of a soft gelatin capsule, time to peak serum concentrations (Tmax) of dutasteride occurs within 2 to 3 hours. Absolute bioavailability in 5 healthy subjects is approximately 60% (range, 40% to 94%).
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
