Alvox 250mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Alvox 250 MG Tablet stops the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. Thus it cures the infection by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria.
Levofloxacin is approximately 24 to 38% bound to serum plasma proteins (primarily albumin); serum protein binding is independent of serum drug concentrations. The plasma elimination half-life (t1/2 beta) ranges from 6 to 8 hours in individuals with normal renal function.
