Alzimin Oral Gel is a combination of three medicines. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it by mouth before meals, preferably at bedtime. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Always complete the prescribed course of treatment. Do not take more than the recommended doses of this medicine as high dose may have harmful effects on the body.
Aluminum hydroxide is an inorganic salt used as an antacid. It is a basic compound that acts by neutralizing hydrochloric acid in gastric secretions. Subsequent increases in pH may inhibit the action of pepsin. An increase in bicarbonate ions and prostaglandins may also confer cytoprotective effects.
Aluminum hydroxide is a basic inorganic salt that acts by neutralizing hydrochloric acid in gastric secretions. Aluminum hydroxide is slowly solubilized in the stomach and reacts with hydrochloric acid to form aluminum chloride and water. It also inhibits the action of pepsin by increasing the pH and via adsorption.
The pharmacokinetic profile of magnesium sulfate after intravenous administration can be described by a two-compartment model with a rapid distribution (α) phase, followed by a relative slow β phase of elimination. The clinical effect and toxicity of magnesium sulfate can be linked to its concentration in plasma.
Simethicone and cellulose are both excreted unchanged in the feces. Simethicone is not known to interfere with gastric secretion or nutrient absorption; however, this medicine is usually taken after at least 4 hours of fasting. SonoRx may color the stool orange until elimination is complete, typically 24 to 48 hours.

ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE; MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE; SIMETHICONE (a LOO mi num hye DROX ide; mag NEE zhum hye DROX ide; sye METH i kone) is an antacid and antigas medicine. It is used to relieve the symptoms of indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and the discomfort caused by gas.
Magnesium hydroxide can decrease the absorption of other drugs such as dasatinib, delavirdine, atazanavir, gabapentin, digoxin, mycophenolate, phosphate supplements (such as potassium phosphate), tetracycline antibiotics (such as doxycycline, minocycline), certain azole antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole)

If you miss a dose of Alzimin Oral Gel, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

This medicine can make it harder for your body to absorb other medicines, especially certain antibiotics. Avoid taking any other medicine within 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take Alzimin Oral Gel.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks of taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines which thin the blood (anticoagulants, e.g. warfarin).
Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and bloating:
Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water
Avoid spicy and fatty fried food
Lose weight if you are obese
If you are a smoker, consider giving up
Don't drink too much alcohol
Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
