Amantrel Capsule may be taken with or without food. However, take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Some common side effects of Amantrel Capsule include nausea, dryness in the mouth, constipation, blurred vision, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), hallucinations, peripheral edema and balance disorder (loss of balance). It may initially cause dizziness and lowering of blood pressure while standing, so rise slowly and do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.
