Amazeo 300 Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably before bedtime. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Amazeo 300 MG Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine used for the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental condition that is characterised by disturbed thinking, emotions, perception of reality, sense of self, and behaviour) in adults. It works by altering the action of a chemical substance called dopamine in the brain.
Amisulpride shows linear pharmacokinetics, a bioavailability of 48%, low protein binding (17%) and an elimination half-life of approximately 12 h. It is predominantly eliminated in the urine as the parent compound.
