Amazeo 400 MG Tablet is an antipsychotic medicine used for the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental condition that is characterised by disturbed thinking, emotions, perception of reality, sense of self, and behaviour) in adults. It works by altering the action of a chemical substance called dopamine in the brain.
Amisulpride shows linear pharmacokinetics, a bioavailability of 48%, low protein binding (17%) and an elimination half-life of approximately 12 h. It is predominantly eliminated in the urine as the parent compound.
