Your doctor may ask for a few laboratory and diagnostic tests to know the effects of the medicine on your body.
Ampoxin Injection 1gm works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell wall, which is necessary for their survival. Thereby kills the bacteria and helps in treating and preventing bacterial infections. In some cases, Ampoxin Injection 1gm may cause common side-effects such as diarrhoea, rashes, nausea, and vomiting.
Pharmacokinetics. Ampicillin is well-absorbed from the GI tract (though food reduces its absorption), and reaches peak concentrations in one to two hours. The bioavailability is around 62% for parenteral routes. Unlike other penicillins, which usually bind 60–90% to plasma proteins, ampicillin binds to only 15–20%.
Cloxacillin is an antibiotic agent used for the treatment of beta-hemolytic streptococcal and pneumococcal infections as well as staphylococcal infections. A semi-synthetic penicillin antibiotic which is a chlorinated derivative of oxacillin.

Ampicillin + Cloxacillin is used to treat respiratory tract infections, ear, nose and throat infections, pelvic infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and gastro- intestinal infections.
Drug-Drug Interactions: AMPICILLIN+CLOXACILLIN may interact with sulphonamides, bacteriostatic drugs, combined oral contraceptives, drugs used to decrease uric acid (allopurinol), and pain killers (aspirin).

If you miss a dose of Ampoxin 1gm Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Ampoxin 1gm Injection may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps.
Take it with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach.
Stop taking Ampoxin 1gm Injection and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
