Anefol XT Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor and should not be self-administered. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine as long as it prescribed to you.
Nausea, vomiting and stomach upset are some common side effects of this medicine. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Usually, it is suggested to avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
Anefol XT Injection prevents and treats anemia by improving the level of iron in the body. This helps reduce symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, reduced concentration, pale or yellow skin, brittle nails, dry hair, etc.
Fe II Salt of iron,oral iron formulation ,antianaemic,heamatinic. Addition of ascorbic acid converts the ferric form to ferrous form thus making it absorbable from duodenum and upper jejunum, resulting in considerable enhancement of the absorption of iron.
The pharmacokinetic profile of plasma FA after oral administration indicated an absorption rate-limited elimination, i.e., so called 'flip-flop' phenomenon. The bioavailability of FA was quite low after a high oral dose (F = 0.01), in contrast to a high value after intramuscular administration (F = 0.95).
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

FERROUS ASCORBATE+FOLIC ACID is not recommended for hemochromatosis (excessive iron in the body) patients as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Therefore, it is advised to inform your doctor if you have any iron overload conditions before taking FERROUS ASCORBATE+FOLIC ACID.
Anefol XT Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Anefol XT Injection.
Anefol XT Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Anefol XT Injection is a combination medicine that is used for iron deficiency and anemia. It helps the body make healthy new cells and maintain iron levels in the blood.
Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have a stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking FERROUS ASCORBATE+FOLIC
