Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include burning, irritation, itchiness, and redness at the application site.

Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreases the sensation of pain. Zinc oxide has astringent, soothing, protectant and antiseptic properties. Together, ALLANTOIN+HYDROCORTISONE+LIDOCAINE+ZINC OXIDE provides relief from pain and discomfort due to piles and anal fissures.

However, the pharmacokinetics of hydrocortisone can vary by 10 times from patient to patient.
ZINC OXIDE (zingk OX ide) is used to treat or prevent minor skin irritations such as burns, cuts, and diaper rash.
Lignocaine is eliminated primarily by hepatic metabolism, which appears to be limited by liver perfusion. Active metabolites may contribute to therapeutic and/or toxic effects. Disease states such as cardiac failure or drugs that alter hepatic blood flow may significantly affect lignocaine clearance.

This combination medication is used to treat minor pain, itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids and other problems of the anal area (such as anal fissures, itching). This medication contains lidocaine, an anesthetic that works by temporarily numbing the area.
Lidocaine and hydrocortisone combination is used to relieve pain and itching caused by conditions such as hemorrhoids, sunburn, minor burns, insect bites or stings, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, minor cuts, or scratches.

If you miss a dose of Anomex Suppository, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Sometimes certain medicines like iron tablets, antibiotics might make your stools hard and difficult to pass. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of them.
Apart from using Anomex Suppository, you can indulge in warm baths. It may help soothe the area and thus may ease the pain.
Don't ignore the feeling of needing to pass stools. Some people suppress this feeling and put off going to the toilet until later. This may result in bigger and harder stools forming that are more difficult to pass later.
A fibre rich diet (wholegrain breads and cereals, fruit and green leafy vegetables) with six to eight full glasses of water each day and daily exercise are important in maintaining healthy bowel function.
Remove the wrapper from the suppository before inserting it. Keep lying down for about 15 minutes after insertion so that the suppository does not come out before it melts.
