Anthocyn-TX Tablet is a combination of two medicines : Tranexamic Acid and Glutathione. Tranexamic Acid is an anti-fibrinolytic that reduces the production of melanin (a pigment that gives the skin its color), by altering the activity of some enzymes that aid in melanin synthesis. Glutathione is an antioxidant that protects cell and tissue damage, lightens skin tone and helps in detoxification of the skin.
Tranexamic acid 1 g was given intravenously to three healthy volunteers. Plasma concentrations decayed in three monoexponential phases. Most elimination took place during the first eight hours, giving an apparent elimination half-life of approximately two hours. Plasma clearance ranged between 110-116 ml/min.Glutathione (GSH) participates in leukotriene synthesis and is a cofactor for the enzyme glutathione peroxidase. It also plays a role in the hepatic biotransformation and detoxification process; it acts as a hydrophilic molecule that is added to other lipophilic toxins or wastes prior to entering biliary excretion.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
