Tinidazole is excreted by the liver and the kidneys. Tinidazole is excreted in the urine mainly as unchanged drug (approximately 20-25% of the administered dose).

Breast Feeding Related Information

Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

If a single dose of Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Indications

(fluconazole) is indicated for the treatment of: 1. Vaginal candidiasis (vaginal yeast infections due to Candida). 2. Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis.Tinidazole is indicated for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (formerly referred to as Haemophilus vaginitis, Gardnerella vaginitis, nonspecific vaginitis, or anaerobic vaginosis) in non-pregnant women [see Use in Specific Populations and Clinical Studies].
