Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.
Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
The pharmacokinetics of fluconazole are similar following intravenous and oral dosing. Oral bioavailability is greater than 90%, and concentrations peak approximately 2 hours after dosing. The apparent volume of distribution is 0.7 L/kg, and plasma protein binding is low (12%).Elimination The plasma half-life of tinidazole is approximately 12-14 hours. Tinidazole is excreted by the liver and the kidneys. Tinidazole is excreted in the urine mainly as unchanged drug (approximately 20-25% of the administered dose).

Mother who is producing milk and breastfeeding
Neurological disorder
Numbness
Porphyria
Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Consuming alcohol while taking Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
If a single dose of Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.

Oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis.Tinidazole is indicated for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (formerly referred to as Haemophilus vaginitis, Gardnerella vaginitis, nonspecific vaginitis, or anaerobic vaginosis) in non-pregnant women [see Use in Specific Populations and Clinical Studies].
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Antif X Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Antif X Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

Do not chew, crush or break it. Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

No, do not stop taking Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
Q. What if I miss my dose?
Take Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
Q. What if I don't get better after using Antif X 150 mg/1000 mg Tablet?
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
