Aridol P Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.
Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.
The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, liver, or have stomach ulcers. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor know about all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should first consult their doctors before using this medicine.
Diclofenac+Paracetamol works by interfering with the production of a chemical called prostaglandins, which is responsible for swelling and pain. As with all NSAIDs, diclofenac exerts its action via inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) with relative equipotency.
Diclofenac binds extensively to plasma albumin. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of diclofenac is proportional to the dose for oral doses between 25 to 150 mg. Substantial concentrations of drug are attained in synovial fluid, which is the proposed site of action for NSAIDs.
It distributes rapidly and evenly throughout most tissues and fluids and has a volume of distribution of approximately 0.9L/kg. 10 to 20% of the drug is bound to red blood cells. Paracetamol is extensively metabolised (predominantly in the liver), the major metabolites being the sulphate and glucuronide conjugates.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers and bleeding or have an active ulcer. If you are pregnant (especially third trimester). If you experience asthma, skin rashes, swelling & allergies after taking aspirin or any other painkillers.
Aridol P Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Aridol P Tablet.
Aridol P Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Diclofenac+Paracetamol is used for pain relief. It relieves pain in conditions like headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, or painful menses.
Drug-Disease Interactions: DICLOFENAC+PARACETAMOL+SERRATIOPEPTIDASE may have interactions with stomach ulcer or perforation, bleeding problems, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, inflammation of intestines, anaemia, heart, kidney and liver problems.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Aridol P Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Aridol P Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Aridol P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Paracetamol. This medication helps in relieving pain and inflammation. It works by lowering the levels of chemical substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen has an early onset of action which means that it takes very less time to start its action and it helps in relieving the symptoms till diclofenac starts working.

Yes, Aridol P Tablet is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause some unwanted common side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhea and other uncommon and rare side effects. Inform your doctor if you experience any persistent problem while taking this medication.
Q. Can I stop taking Aridol P Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Aridol P Tablet, when used for long-term pain relief, should be continued for as long as advised by your physician. It can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.
Q. Can the use of Aridol P Tablet cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Aridol P Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to your doctor.
