Aspisol AV Capsule should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Lifestyle changes like a low-fat diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this medicine to work better.
Abdominal pain, indigestion, and constipation are some common side effects of this medicine. This medicine increases your risk of bleeding, so it is important to be careful while shaving, cutting nails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g., football, wrestling). Let your doctor know if you notice yellowing of the skin, muscle pain, or dark urine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease or you are suffering from a bleeding disorder. You must tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Cholesterol is made by an enzyme, atorvastatin inhibits this enzyme. Therefore, lowering cholesterol and bad cholesterol (LDL levels).
Aspirin is rapidly absorbed in the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract and results in a measurable inhibition of platelet function within 60 minutes. This antiplatelet effect is associated with prolongation of the bleeding time and inhibition of TXA2-dependent platelet aggregation.
Atorvastatin acid is extensively metabolised in both the gut and liver by oxidation, lactonisation and glucuronidation, and the metabolites are eliminated by biliary secretion and direct secretion from blood to the intestine.

Aspisol AV Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Aspisol AV Capsule.
Aspisol AV Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Atorvastatin+Aspirin is used for prevention of heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin + Aspirin is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Aspirin, which prevents heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol.
Drug-Disease Interaction: ASPIRIN+ATORVASTATIN should not be given to the patients with active liver disease, active bleeding issues (like peptic ulcer, brain haemorrhage), muscle problems or musculoskeletal problems (myopathy, rhabdomyolysis), asthma, and purpura (blood leakage under the skin).

If you miss a dose of Aspisol AV Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, Aspisol AV Capsule may cause liver damage and should be used with caution in patients who consume substantial quantities of alcohol or have a past history of liver disease.
Q. What are the recommended storage conditions for Aspisol AV Capsule?
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
Q. Can the Aspisol AV Capsule cause muscle pain?
Yes, Aspisol AV Capsule may cause muscle pain due to muscle injury. However, this side effect does not occur in everybody. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible if you are experiencing symptoms such as muscle pain or weakness.
Q. Will I need to stop Aspisol AV Capsule before surgery or dental procedure?
Aspisol AV Capsule may increase the risk of bleeding during a surgery or dental procedure. Therefore, you maybe asked by your doctor to stop taking Aspisol AV Capsule. You should not stop taking Aspisol AV Capsule on your own.
