B-Floren Eye Drop is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
It may cause burning sensation and eye discomfort immediately following application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration. It may cause short term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines. Do not wear contact lenses while using it.
Consistent with other fluoroquinolones, besifloxacin binds to DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, two enzymes that are critical for DNA replication in bacteria. Unlike previous generations in this class, besifloxacin has a relatively equal affinity for inhibiting the above enzymes.
The mean besifloxacin Cmax was 0.37 ng/mL on day 1 and 0.43 ng/mL on day 6. The average elimination half-life of besifloxacin in plasma following multiple dosing was estimated to be 7 hours.

B-Floren Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

B-Floren Eye Drop is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Besifloxacin ophthalmic suspension 0.6%, is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible isolates of the following bacteria: Aerococcus viridans* CDC coryneform group G Corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum* Corynebacterium striatum* Haemophilus influenzae Moraxella
Magnesium Magnesium can cause a decrease in the absorption of Besifloxacin resulting in a reduced serum concentration and potentially a decrease in efficacy.
Pitolisant Besifloxacin may increase the QTc-prolonging activities of Pitolisant.
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of B-Floren Eye Drop, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed B-Floren Eye Drop for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the medication.
Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contamination.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

Q. How many times should I apply B-Floren Eye Drop in a day?
Ideally, you should use the drops regularly, 3 times a day for 7 days or as prescribed by your doctor.
Q. How long does B-Floren Eye Drop take to work?
B-Floren Eye Drop starts working as early as 3 days. The itching and discharge (if any) are the first ones to get better. Pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, as long as 7 days. But, if it takes longer, or if your symptoms do not subside or get worse, please consult your doctor immediately.
Q. Is B-Floren Eye Drop safe to use for a long time?
B-Floren Eye Drop should not be used for more than 7 days unless your doctor tells you to. Due to prolonged use, the bacterial infection may become resistant to B-Floren Eye Drop which means it will no longer work properly. Please talk to your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms. He/she may change the dose or probably prescribe a different medicine.
Q. How is B-Floren Eye Drop used?
Wash your hands thoroughly prior to using B-Floren Eye Drop. Invert closed bottle (upside down) and shake once before each use. Remove cap with bottle still in the inverted position. Tilt head back, and with bottle inverted, gently squeeze bottle to instill one drop into the affected eye(s). Close your eyes for at least 2-3 minutes so that the medicine does not drain out of the eye(s).
