Some common side effects of this medicine include fatigue, weakness, drowsiness, and dizziness. If any of these side effects do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER is a muscle relaxant. It works on the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm maintaining the strength of the muscles. This relieves pain and improves movement of muscles.
Baclofen is eliminated largely in unchanged form. Within 72 hours, approximately 75% of the dose is excreted via the kidneys with about 5% of this amount as metabolites. The pharmacokinetics of baclofen in elderly patients are virtually the same as in patients below 65 years of age.

Baclofen is indicated for the relief of spasticity of voluntary muscle resulting from such disorders as multiple sclerosis, other spinal lesions e.g. tumours of the spinal cord, syringomyelia, motor neurone disease, transverse myelitis, traumatic partial section of the cord.

If you miss a dose of Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER may cause side effects in patients with normal kidney function which include excessive day time urination (pollakiuria), burning sensation while urinating (dysuria), and loss of bladder control (urinary incontinence). Generally, a low dose of Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER is prescribed if a person has abnormally functioning kidneys or if a person is on dialysis.

Take Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER exactly as directed by your doctor. If a person experiences nausea while taking Baclof OD 30 Tablet ER then it should be consumed with food or milk.
