Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Beclotis CG Cream is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It also has antimicrobial action against infection-causing microorganisms.

Pharmacokinets

Pharmacokinetics: Rapidly absorbed from pulmonary, nasal, and GI tissue. Undergoes extensive first-pass metabolism in the liver. Protein binding: 87%. Primarily eliminated in feces.

After vaginal treatment with clotrimazole, the small fraction absorbed into the systemic circulation--between 3% and 10% of the dose--is subjected to metabolism and excretion as after oral or intravenous administration. The vaginal availability of clotrimazole is largely dependent on the formulation applied.

In infants, Vd of gentamicin is estimated to be 0.35 L/kg, higher than reported in adults and lower compared with neonates [90]. Studies on pharmacokinetics of gentamicin in febrile neutropenic children aged 0–17 years showed a Vd ranging from 0.25 L/kg to 0.32 L/kg
