BENZ ADP GEL 15G is a combination of two drugs: Adapalene (retinoids) and Benzoyl peroxide (keratolytic agent). Adapalene belongs to the retinoid class (human-made vitamin A) that works by loosening the cells in the skin's surface and unblocks pores by reducing oil production in the skin.
Pharmacokinetics: Absorption of adapalene from DIFFERIN Gel, 0.3% through human skin is low. In a pharmacokinetics study, 16 acne patients were treated once daily for 10 days with 2 grams of DIFFERIN Gel, 0.3% applied to the face, chest and back, corresponding to approximately 2 mg/cm2,In the skin, benzoyl peroxide is metabolized to benzoic acid. Approximately 5% of the benzoic acid is systemically absorbed and excreted in the urine. After topical application to the skin, benzoyl peroxide is absorbed through the epidermis. Approximately 5% of the benzoic acid is systemically absorbed.

Do not apply BENZ ADP GEL 15G on cuts, open wounds, scrapes, sunburned, windburned, chapped, dry or irritated skin. Avoid exposure to tanning beds or sunlight while using BENZ ADP GEL 15G as it may make the skin more sensitive to sunlight and cause sunburn.
Benz Adp Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Benz ADP Gel is a medicine that consists of Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide. It is used for the treatment of acne (pimples, blackheads and whiteheads) on your face, back, and chest caused by bacteria. It helps in reducing excess oil production, blackheads, whiteheads or painful lumps beneath your skin.
Drug-Drug Interaction: BENZ ADP GEL 15G may interact with vitamin A-related drugs known as retinoids (isotretinoin, tretinoin, bexarotene, trifarotene), photosensitizing agents (aminolevulinic acid, methoxsalen, porfimer, verteporfin), antibiotics (dapsone), sensitizer (methyl aminolevulinate), keratolytic agents.

If you miss a dose of Benz Adp Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
