Other common side effects of this medicine include nausea, taste changes, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, edema (swelling), blurred vision, bone fracture, and respiratory tract infection.
The BEPRIDE 2MG TABLET contains Glimepiride which acts on insulin-secreting cells called beta cells inside the pancreas, activates calcium channels on cells which lets insulin pass out of the cell. This insulin then makes each cell in the body take up glucose and utilize it, thus lowering raised blood glucose.
Pharmacokinetics. Gastrointestinal absorption is complete, with no interference from meals. Significant absorption can occur within one hour, and distribution is throughout the body, 99.5% bound to plasma protein. Metabolism is by oxidative biotransformation, it is hepatic and complete,Metformin has an oral bioavailability of 50–60% under fasting conditions, and is absorbed slowly. Peak plasma concentrations (Cmax) are reached within 1–3 hours of taking immediate-release metformin and 4–8 hours with extended-release formulations,Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that increases insulin sensitivity in target tissues. It is well-absorbed, with a mean absolute bioavailability of 83% and reaching maximum concentrations in around 1.5 hours. It is metabolised by the hepatic cytochrome P450 enzyme system.

Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet contains three antidiabetic drugs Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Glimepiride stimulates cells in the pancreas that produce insulin which helps to remove sugar from the blood.
You are not recommended to take Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet with pregabalin as it may cause weight gain and fluid retention that could lead to heart failure. However, please consult a doctor before using Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet with other medicines.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Bepride Plus 1mg/500mg/15mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
