Bestoflox TZ Tablet may lead to some side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. If any of the side effects get aggravated, contact your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must consult your doctor immediately.
Bestoflox TZ Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Tinidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Tinidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Tinidazole is excreted by the liver and the kidneys. Tinidazole is excreted in the urine mainly as unchanged drug (approximately 20-25% of the administered dose). Approximately 12% of the drug is excreted in the feces. The elimination half-life is 13.2±1.4 hours and the plasma half-life is 12 to 14 hours,The pharmacokinetics of ofloxacin are characterised by almost complete bioavailability (95 to 100%), peak serum concentrations in the range of 2 to 3 mg/L after a 400mg oral dose and an average half-life of 5 to 8h.

Consuming alcohol while taking Bestoflox TZ Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Bestoflox TZ Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Bestoflox TZ Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery. It prevents the growth of microorganisms to treat the infection.
Take Bestoflox TZ Tablet either 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking an antacid, multivitamin, or other product with calcium, magnesium, aluminium, iron, zinc, antiulcer agent (sucralfate) or anti-HIV drug (didanosine).
Do not chew, crush or break it. Bestoflox TZ Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

If you miss a dose of Bestoflox TZ Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Diarrhea can cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids to help rehydrate you.
Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours.
Do not use Bestoflox TZ Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Bestoflox TZ Tablet as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness.
Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Yes, the use of Bestoflox TZ Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.

The use of Bestoflox TZ Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to ofloxacin or tinidazole or any other excipient. It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of any inflammation of the tendons (tendinitis), or tendon rupture seen with the use of ofloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the same group (quinolone group) of antimicrobial agents and in patients with some neurological disorders.

Take Bestoflox TZ Tablet as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
