Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, stomach pain, dizziness, sleepiness, and heartburn. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.
Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ibuprofen and Dextropropoxyphene. They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Ibuprofen is rapidly and completely absorbed following oral administration (tmax, ~ 1–2 h depending on the specific oral formulation), and unbound concentrations show linear pharmacokinetics at commonly used doses [1,5]. It is extensively (>98%) bound to plasma proteins at therapeutic concentrations.Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic used to treat mild to moderate pain. Dextropropoxyphene is an opioid analgesic manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company. It is used in the symptomatic treatment of mild pain. It displays antitussive and local anaesthetic actions.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule.
Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Even small doses of Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule can cause infant sleepiness and decreased/altered brain function.

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
Drink plenty of water while taking it.
Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule.
Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first.
If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Betaflam Forte 400 mg/65 mg Capsule. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.
