Betamethasone phosphate disappeared rapidly from plasma (mean half-life = 4.7 min) as betamethasone levels rose. Betamethasone plasma levels reached a peak 10-36 min after administration of the phosphate before declining in a biexponential manner. The terminal slow disposition phase had a mean half-life of 6.5 h.

Betnesol Injection 1ml belongs to a group of medicines called steroids, also known as corticosteroids. It is used to treat allergic conditions such as asthma, arthritis, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It is also helpful in other conditions, like blood disorders and diseases of the adrenal glands.
Drug-Drug Interaction: Betnesol 4mg Injection 8x1 ml may interact with drugs used to lower high blood pressure (metoprolol), pain killers (aspirin, ibuprofen), antianxiety drugs (alprazolam), laxatives (magnesium sulphate), blood thinners (warfarin).
Adult: 1 - 2 tablet 3 times daily. Amoxicillin 500 mg + Clavulanic acid 125 mg three times daily or Amoxycillin 250 mg + Clavulanic acid 125 mg three times daily depending on the severity of infection
