Betnesol-N Eye/Ear Drops is to be used only in the affected eye or ear. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed in the label. Do not use too much or too little. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Complete your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection.
Betnesol-N Eye/Ear Drops is a medicine used to treat bacterial eye or ear infections. It kills and prevents the growth of infection-causing bacteria in the eyes. This way it relieves the symptoms and speeds up the healing process.
Betamethasone phosphate disappeared rapidly from plasma (mean half-life = 4.7 min) as betamethasone levels rose. Betamethasone plasma levels reached a peak 10-36 min after administration of the phosphate before declining in a biexponential manner. The terminal slow disposition phase had a mean half-life of 6.5 h,Neomycin is used orally or topically. The small absorbed fraction is rapidly distributed in the tissues and excreted by the kidneys. The unabsorbed portion of neomycin (97%) is primarily excreted unchanged in feces.

Betamethasone can be combined with an antibiotic called neomycin. These drops are known by the brand name Betnesol-N. They can be prescribed when there is inflammation and signs of a bacterial infection. They are often used to treat infections in the ear canal (known as "swimmer's ear").
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it.
