Bextrin Total Capsule may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Your doctor may change the dose and time between doses according to your pain level and your needs. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.
Bextrin Total Capsule gives relief from pain in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual cramp, headache and muscle aches. It works by reducing substances in the body that causes pain. It also protects the body from damage and reduces swelling due to the presence of an antioxidant.
Aceclofenac is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. After oral administration, aceclofenac is rapidly and completely absorbed as unchanged drug. Peak plasma concentrations are reached approximately 1.25 to 3.00 hours following ingestion.The pharmacokinetics of beta-cyclodextrin and of hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin were studied after intravenous administration to permanently cannulated rats. The pharmacokinetic behavior of both cyclodextrins was similar to that of inulin, showing rapid distribution over extracellular fluids.Trypsin is a serine protease that plays an essential role in protein hydrolysis and absorption in mammals. When converted from its zymogen trypsinogen, trypsin is available as an active peptide hydrolase (EC 3.4. 21.4) form to cleave peptide chains, mainly at the carboxyl side of the amino acids lysine or arginine.Depending on the surface area and depth of the wound, bromelain blood serum concentrations of no more than 40 µg/ml are expected, with peak concentrations reached after 2 to 4 hours. The terminal half-life varied between 8.5 and 19.9 hours in studies.Rutoside is a natural flavone derivative. It has anti- inflammatory, anti-allergy and immunomodulating activity 20. Rutoside inhibits platelet aggregation, as well as decreasing capillary permeability, making the blood thinner and improving circulation. Rutin also strengthens the capillaries.

Hypersensitivity to Bextrin Total Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Bextrin Total Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Active peptic ulcer
Acute rhinitis
Allergic to pineapple, latex, wheat, celery, carrot, fennel, cypress pollen, or grass pollen
Allergy to Aceclofenac
Asthma
Breastfeeding
Edema
Fresh blood clots
Hemorrhoids
History of arrhythmias
Bextrin Total Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Bextrin Total Capsule.

Aceclofenac + Beta-Cyclodextrin + Trypsin + Bromelain + Rutoside is a combination of five medicines: Aceclofenac , Beta-Cyclodextrin , Trypsin , Bromelain and Rutoside which relieve pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Beta-Cyclodextrin enhances the effect of Aceclofenac . Trypsin and Bromelain are enzymes. They increase blood supply and make the body produce substances that fight pain and swelling. Rutoside is an antioxidant which protects the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals) and further reduces swelling.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Bextrin Total Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Bextrin Total Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:

Do not chew, crush or break it. Bextrin Total Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Bextrin Total Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Consult a doctor before taking any medicines.
Take it as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor.
Take it with plenty of fluids, an hour before or two hours after a meal.
It may increase the severity of your condition at the start of treatment. Continue using it as prescribed by your doctor.
It may cause dizziness and blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
It may change the color, consistency, and odor of your stool. This is harmless. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
