Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine.
Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefadroxil and Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Cefadroxil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
Cefadroxil is almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. After doses of 500 mg and 1 g by mouth, peak plasma concentrations of about 16 and 30 micrograms/ml, respectively, are obtained after 1.5 to 2.0 hours.Lactobacillus acidophilus bacterial strains are normal colonizers of the bowel and work by inhibiting or decreasing the growth of harmful microorganisms in the gut by producing lactic acid.

CEFADROXIL may interact with other antibiotics (tetracycline, erythromycin, sulfonamides, and chloramphenicol) and hinder its efficacy. CEFADROXIL may cause renal toxicity when interacting with aminoglycoside antibiotics (polymyxin B), and high-dose loop diuretics.

If you miss a dose of Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, the use of Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.
Q. Can I stop taking Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet when I feel better?
No, do not stop taking Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
Q. What if I miss my dose?
Take Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet as soon you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
Q. What if I don't get better after using Bid LB Kid 125mg/30mg Tablet?
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
