Bioflox Eye Drop is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Bioflox Eye Drop is an antibiotic. It treats bacterial eye infections by preventing the bacteria from dividing and repairing. It does so stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase.
Absorption of norfloxacin is rapid following single doses of 200 mg, 400 mg and 800 mg. At the respective doses, mean peak serum and plasma concentrations of 0.8, 1.5 and 2.4 μg/mL are attained approximately one hour after dosing.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Norfloxacin is used to treat certain bacterial infections in many different parts of the body. Norfloxacin may mask or delay the symptoms of syphilis. It is not effective against syphilis infections. Norfloxacin belongs to the class of medicines known as quinolone antibiotics.

If you miss a dose of Bioflox Eye Drop, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the medication.
