Biogesic-P 50mg/125mg Syrup works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger that is known to cause fever and inflammation. Adhere to the prescribed dose, time, and way while giving this medicine to your child. It can be given orally before or after meals. However, it is best to give this medicine to your child after meals as this will prevent the chance of developing an upset stomach. Try giving it at a fixed time so that it becomes a part of your child’s daily routine and helps prevent missing a dose.

Nimesulide is rapidly distributed and has an apparent volume of distribution ranging between 0.18 and 0.39 L/kg. It is extensively bound to albumin; the unbound fraction in plasma was 1%. The unbound fraction increased to 2 and 4% in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.It distributes rapidly and evenly throughout most tissues and fluids and has a volume of distribution of approximately 0.9L/kg. 10 to 20% of the drug is bound to red blood cells. Paracetamol is extensively metabolised (predominantly in the liver), the major metabolites being the sulphate and glucuronide conjugates.
Biogesic-P 50mg/125mg Syrup does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-

If you have serious heart failure problems or heart-related disorders.
It should not be used in patients less than 12 years old, pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers.

NIMESULIDE+PARACETAMOL is prescribed mainly to treat pain and get relief from discomfort caused by conditions like tooth pain, arthritis, period pain and other types of short-term pains. It helps in treating pain by blocking the chemical messenger in the brain responsible for causing fever, pain and inflammation.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Biogesic P Syrup / Biogesic P Syrup may change. This may increase the risk of side effects or prevent the drug from working. Tell your doctor about all the medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that your doctor can help prevent and eliminate drug reactions. Biogesic P Syrup / Biogesic P Syrup may interact with the following drugs and products:
Alcohol
Cyclosporine
Digitalis glycosides
Some laboratory tests with interfere

Do not panic. Unless your doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you may give the missed dose if it’s not more than 12 hours late. If it is almost time for the next dose, do not give a double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.

Maintain a log of your child’s temperature. If you do not see any improvement, contact your child’s doctor for advice.
Give plenty of fluids to your child, if diarrhea occurs as a side-effect.
If your child exhibits signs of inflammation like redness or swelling,try placing an ice-pack over the affected area to reduce redness and swelling.
Never give any other medicine formulation containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects.
Stop the medicine and consult your child’s doctor in case your child exhibits allergic rash or stomach pain soon after taking this medicine.
