Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps reduce pain and cramps during periods. It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation, thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Pharmacokinets

Dicyclomine is 79.5% eliminated in the urine and 8.4% in the feces. The mean plasma elimination half life is approximately 1.8 hours.Mefenamic acid is rapidly absorbed after oral administration. In two 500-mg single oral dose studies, the mean extent of absorption was 30.5 mcg/hr/mL (17%CV). The bioavailability of the capsule relative to an IV dose or an oral solution has not been studied.

Dicyclomine+Mefenamic Acid is used in the treatment of menstrual pain and abdominal pain. It relieves colicky pain associated with intestinal, biliary, and ureteric colic. Dicyclomine + Mefenamic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid.
