Normally you should blow your nose gently before using it, keep one nostril closed while applying the medicine into the other, and then sniff hard to make sure it reaches deep into the nose. Then repeat for the other nostril. You should take adequate supplements of calcium and vitamin D while on the treatment of this medicine to make it more effective.
Bonspark Nasal Spray works by inhibiting the resorption of bones by acting on bone cells responsible for bone resorption.
Salmon calcitonin is rapidly absorbed with bioavailability of 71% following subcutaneous injection and 66% following intramuscular injection in humans. Via the nasal route, the bioavailability varies between 3 to 5% relative to IM. Protein binding is about 30 to 40%.

Unopened bottles should be stored in the refrigerator. Once opened, they should be stored at room temperature for up to 35 days.
Stop using it and inform your doctor if you get any nosebleeds or notice any ulceration inside your nose.
Discontinue Bonspark Nasal Spray and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.

Each bottle is set to deliver 30 doses. Do not use the bottle after 30 days.
